SEDONA
The red rocks of Sedona have lived in my imagination ever since I first heard about them many years ago. When I finally had the opportunity to visit, I immediately fell in love with this landscape. I still remember that first glimpse of reddish pink in the morning sun, gleaming far away in the distance. And as I drove towards it, I felt like I was coming home. It was not a physical “coming home” - I had grown up in a very different landscape of New England, but this seemed like a spiritual coming home.
These ancient rocks feel like witnesses to me. They seem to hold secrets of what once was. They are a reminder of a timelessness and a spiritual awakening of those who come to kneel in their presence.
